I think the Lakers would have to be WELL under .500 for the team to even think about canning Brown. I'm talking about 4-16, that type of record. Otherwise, they'll win or lose with him at the helm. I'm still optimistic that they'll turn it around. The key is DEFENSE. Must defend, and do it with energy. The offense actually has been good enough (it will improve), but it's that D the Show has to improve. I know it is early, and the team has been injury ridden, but I can't shake the feeling that this team needs different leadership. I've never seen Nash so ineffective. Furthermore,I feel like Brown saddled Kobe and Pau with too many minutes last season so that his regular season record would not be terrible at the cost of the team being able to compete deep in the playoffs.
